I acquired English proficiency while studying at Northam Senior High School in Australia. After returning to my home country I started my career as a radio personality in Tokyo.
I widened my sphere of activities to include hosting live shows and talk shows. I’ve worked as a bilingual interviewer for various TV shows of popular media companies such as the internationally renowned MTV, as well as Avex and TVtokyo.
In 2010 I journeyed abroad on a round-the-world trip to satisfy my lifelong ambition for adventure and learn about other cultures. I visited more than 90 countries, many of which were in the Middle East, South America and Africa. I have volunteered for an NGO that visits regions affected by natural disasters in Japan and overseas, a role in which I continue to participate.
I’ve worked as a writer, contributing articles to several magazines to raise awareness about communities during natural disasters, promoting efforts to secure necessary aid and assistance from the international community. I’m a relentlessly vigorous MC with an impressively persuasive, husky voice.
